Why Voma uses Stripe for payment processing

Why Voma uses Stripe for payment processing

Voma currently integrates with Stripe and PayPal to process payments. At this time, the Stripe integration is required in order to use Voma. You can optionally enable PayPal as a secondary payment option for individual payment pages.

Do I need to have a Stripe account?

Yes. If you don't already have a Stripe account, don't worry - it's free and easy to sign up for a Stripe account and we're happy to help!

In addition to the price of your Voma subscription, you will need to pay separate fees to Stripe for each transaction that is processed through Stripe.

Please visit their pricing page for more details.

What are the benefits of having a Stripe account?

One of the core philosophies of Voma is that you own your customer and payment data. Because you will be integrating Voma with your own Stripe account, you will continue to have full access and control over that data even if you decide to leave Voma.

Integrating with Stripe provides a simplified solution for compliance areas including:

SCA (Strong Customer Authentication)

Details can be found on Stripe’s security page.

Stripe provides a well-documented and robust REST API for programmatic access to your account and to support advanced / custom use cases.

User experience

Stripe invests heavily in an optimized user experience.

Will Voma integrate with other payment platforms in the future?

Most likely! We are exploring additional payment integrations - and if you have a specific request, please send our team a message through our website.

If you have any questions, please let us know at or in our live chat at the bottom right of your screen
